Secondary data was obtained from different literature. Based on the findings of this study, it is revealed that local community and hotels are highly affected by tourism low season; the most affected is hotels. The impacts are vivid to hotels where issues like few customers and drop of sales are reported. For the local community, particularly small-businessmen, drop of sales is reported as the main negative impact in their activities. The findings brings a conclusion that the negative effects of tourism low season in Arusha district include loss of employment, decrease of people’s incomes, decrease of region’s economy, increase of crimes and also low return on investment.
