Entry Requirement

 

Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Hospitality Management (BScT)

  • Candidates must be holders of advanced certificate of secondary education examination (ACSSE) with at least two (2) principal passes in relevant subjects.
  • Candidates must have at least two (2) credit passes in the certificate of secondary education examination (CSEE)  including mathematics and English.
  • In addition, the applicant must have secured in the advanced certificate of secondary education examination (a – level) a total of the (5) points or more in appropriate subjects at the same sitting.
  • The point is based on the following scale: (A= 5; B= 4; C= 3; D= 2; E = 1; S = 0.5; and, F = 0).
  • OR, Candidates must hold qualifications equivalent to the above requirements from an institution recognized by the University.
  • OR, Candidates must hold a relevant Diploma of at least second class standing from an institution recognized by the University.
  • OR, Candidates of mature age (25 years) who possess the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (C.S.E.E.) with at least five passes and three credits in approve subjects, which should include Mathematics and English, and have a minimum of four years working experience in a relevant field may apply. Such candidates must be ready to take a special Aptitude Test.
